一、活動重點及目的：
馬來亞大學（Universiti Malaya, UM）位於馬來西亞吉隆坡，為該國歷史悠久且具國際聲望的頂尖綜合型大學，在醫學、牙醫學及健康科學領域表現卓越。其牙醫學院整合教學、科研與臨床服務，致力於培育專業牙醫人才，為亞太地區口腔醫學發展的重要機構。

二、活動特色及執行情形：
UM 牙醫學院課程整合基礎醫學、牙科科學及臨床實習，涵蓋齒顎矯正、牙髓病、牙周病、兒童牙科及口腔顎面外科等專業，並透過數位牙科實驗室與先進設備強化臨床實務訓練。

該院口腔顎面外科以顱顏重建為特色，設有跨專科顱顏門診，處理唇顎裂、先天性顱顏異常及顎骨發育異常等複雜病例，並透過 OCReS 研究團隊推動顱顏外科、生物材料及組織工程研究。此外，該院在正顎手術、口腔癌與頭頸腫瘤治療及顏面外傷方面具豐富經驗，並設有進階專科培訓及研究、臨床 Fellowship 制度，結合病例討論與跨專科合作，提供完整的臨床訓練與研究環境。

I. Key Objectives and Purpose

Universiti Malaya (UM), located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is one of the country's oldest and most prestigious comprehensive universities, renowned for its excellence in medicine, dentistry, and health sciences. Its Faculty of Dentistry integrates education, research, and clinical services, focusing on training professional dental practitioners and contributing to the development of oral healthcare in the Asia-Pacific region.

II. Program Highlights and Implementation

UM's Faculty of Dentistry integrates basic medicine, dental sciences, and clinical training, covering specialties such as orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, pediatric dentistry, and oral and maxillofacial surgery. Advanced facilities, including digital dentistry laboratories, support practical clinical training.

The Faculty's oral and maxillofacial surgery department specializes in craniofacial reconstruction and operates a multidisciplinary craniofacial clinic to manage complex cases, including cleft lip and palate, congenital craniofacial conditions, and jaw developmental abnormalities. Through the OCReS (Oro-Craniomaxillofacial Research & Surgical Group), the Faculty also promotes research in craniofacial surgery, biomaterials, and tissue engineering.

In addition, UM has extensive experience in orthognathic surgery, oral cancer and head and neck tumor treatment, and maxillofacial trauma. It offers advanced specialty training and research and clinical fellowship programs, providing a comprehensive training and research environment through case discussions and multidisciplinary collaboration.
