1. Managing an EMI classroom
2. EMI language moves defined
3. EMI language moves considered:
o Start an EMI class
o Pace an EMI class
o Facilitate critical thinking
o Facilitate English usage
o End an EMI class
Participants will:
• View EMI teaching decisions as “language moves” that allow teachers to guide an EMI class session using strategic English phrases and expressions
• Reflect on and practice using EMI language moves for different teaching subjects and in different teaching situations
