CSMU leadership visited the U.S. to expand global partnerships and strengthen connections with the international medical community. They visited City of Hope to explore collaboration in research, education, and medical innovation, and also joined the 2026 North America Alumni Meeting to reconnect with overseas alumni and strengthen the global CSMU network.

U.S. Visit Highlights – Part 2 🇺🇸
CSMU leadership visited Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center to deepen academic collaboration and expand international training opportunities. Discussions focused on student exchange, clinical training, dual-degree programs, and joint online courses, along with a visit to advanced simulation facilities.
The team also met distinguished alumnus Dr. Tung Sung Tseng, Charles L. Brown, MD Endowed Professor at LSU School of Public Health, who helped facilitate this visit and strengthen future collaboration—marking an important step toward long-term global partnerships.

CSMU leadership visited University Medical Center New Orleans to observe real-world clinical operations, including emergency care, trauma systems, and hospital workflows, strengthening future clinical training and exchange opportunities.
They also engaged with Tulane University School of Medicine to discuss medical education, admissions strategies, and interdisciplinary training, while connecting with alumni and scholars to expand global academic and clinical collaboration.

CSMU leadership visited the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office and UT Southwestern Medical Center to strengthen international collaboration.
The team connected with local scholars in Houston to expand research partnerships.
At UT Southwestern—one of the leading academic medical centers in the U.S., integrating biomedical research, clinical care, and medical education—the delegation explored institutional collaboration and engaged with the School of Public Health, focusing on research exchange between faculty members and graduate students.
Through in-depth discussions and on-site engagement, this visit further strengthens CSMU’s global academic network and lays the groundwork for future international research collaboration.

U.S. Visit Highlights – Final Chapter 🇺🇸
CSMU concluded its U.S. visit at UT Southwestern Medical Center, exploring simulation training, 3D-printed medical education, and cyclotron applications in cancer care.
The team also discussed physician exchange programs at the cancer center. During the visit, the delegation met Dr. Yuan-Huang Wu and conferred the honorary degree in person.
As this U.S. visit series concludes, CSMU continues to strengthen global partnerships and advance medical education and healthcare innovation worldwide. 💙
